Maintaining a clean home when you have allergies and sensitivities can be a bit tricky. In this blog post were going to go over how to dust when you or someone in your home has allergies and sensitivities.

Option #1: Wet Dusting

Wet dusting is a lot better than regular dusting! Regular dusting just disturbs the dust and forces it to relocate. Wet dusting (especially with a microfiber cloth) helps gather and hold all the dust.

Step 1: Wet a microfiber cloth with water

Step 2: Wring out microfiber

Step 3: Wipe down dist surface

Step 4: Rinse cloth whenever its too dirty to use

Option #2: Vacuum with a HEPA Filter

Vacuuming is a great way to consolidate all the dust in your home. However the type of filters your vacuums have can play a really important role in how vacuuming can affect your allergies/sensitivities. HEPA filters can really help by catching about 99% of allergens(pet dander, pollen, dust, dust mite feces, etc) so they aren't dispersed into the air.

Step 1: Vacuum

Step 2: Depending on the frequency of use, wash filters every month or two, and change out HEPA filters every 6 months to a year.

Option #3: Hire a Professional Cleaner

Hiring a house cleaner who understands your needs is VERY IMPORTANT!
